President

Wesley Matthews is the founder and President of Doctums Global, an advisory consulting firm helping organizations and institutions to develop and execute go-to-market, change management and business process optimization strategies.
His experience in global cross-functional leadership roles has allowed him to work with entities such as EdTech companies, government agencies (US Department of Agriculture, US National Laboratories System) and colleges and universities across the globe.
Wesley has held senior roles at Frontline Education, Ellucian, and the Innovation Center for US Dairy. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, has advanced degrees in computer science software engineering from the Universidad Austral de Chile and has studied Non-profit Management at the University of Notre Dame.

MOIRA STEVENSON KIRKLAND

VP Advisory Services

Moira Kirkland is the Vice President of Advisory Services at Doctums Global, an advisory firm helping organizations and institutions develop and execute go-to-market, change management and business process optimization strategies.

She brings 20+ years of experience in higher education administration and the edtech industry having held leadership and strategy roles in consulting, product management, and customer advocacy. In her most recent role, prior to joining Doctums Global, Moira was the growth and strategy lead for Oracle’s North American higher education practice.

She began her higher education journey at Mount Allison University, a liberal arts institution in Atlantic Canada, where she was the University Controller.

She holds a BBA from the University of New Brunswick and qualified as a CPA/Chartered Accountant while articling at KMPG Canada.

FRED HARKRIDER

VP Client Engagement

Fred Harkrider is the Vice President of Client Engagement at Doctums Global, an advisory consulting firm helping organizations and institutions to develop and execute go-to-market, change management and business process optimization strategies.

With over 25 years experience in project management and various leadership roles across multiple verticals, Fred has worked with major organizations around the world. He has served clients such as Discover Card, Delta Air Lines, United Technologies, Texas Tech University, University System of Georgia, Alabama Community College System and Tennessee Board of Regents.

Fred takes an analytical approach to problem resolution, and focuses on promoting continuous improvement processes across teams. He has helped organizations of all sizes develop greater outcomes to achieve success.

Fred has held senior roles at Ellucian, OpenGov, and SchoolNet among others and holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington.

SALVADOR SALAZAR

VP Technology and Product Strategy

Salvador Salazar is the VP of Technology and Product Strategy at Doctums Global, an advisory consulting firm helping organizations and institutions to develop and execute go-to-market, change management and business process optimization strategies.

He is a multicultural hands-on Information Technology professional specializing in Higher Education with more than 23 years of relevant experience. His areas of focus are Student Information Systems (SIS) and ERP implementations.
Salvador served as Senior Director at Laureate International Universities where he co-developed a global template for deploying Ellucian Banner across institutions and countries in the Laureate network. He also served as Director of Product Development working on modernizing the business processes for Laureate globally.

Salvador was a pioneer in SIS implementations across South America in countries like Chile, Ecuador, Peru, and Brazil.

Salvador is regularly called to find creative ways to deliver functionality and integration across the Higher Education landscape. Sal’s quiet manner belies a fierce passion for using technology appropriately to meet the institution needs.

Salvador has held leadership roles at Laureate International Universities, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad de los Andes in Chile. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the ESE Business School, a Studies in Political Science and Government from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a BS in Computer Science from the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.

MAX SHERMAN

VP Client Recruitment

Max Sherman is the Vice President of Client Recruitment at Doctums Global, an advisory consulting firm helping organizations and institutions to develop and execute go-to-market, change management and business process optimization strategies.

His over 40 years of experience in marketing and sales has evolved to embrace a complete commitment to understanding and aligning the client journey and client partnership with comprehensive organizational best practices.
His practical experience in sales and channel operations includes the planning, development, and successful rollout of transformational programs for global organizations. He has also worked with higher education institutions to develop ROI and technology investment strategies.

For the last 20 years Max has worked directly in the higher education market, as an executive field sales operations and cross-functional management specialist for Blackbaud, SunGard Higher Education and Ellucian.

Max holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Salem State University, and a BA in English from the University of New Hampshire.

JUAN JOSE ZAMUR

VP LATAM Operations

Juan José (JJ) Zamur is the VP LATAM Operations at Doctums Global, an advisory consulting firm helping organizations and institutions to develop and execute go-to-market, change management and business process optimization strategies.

His experience in Higher Education as a consultant, teacher, workshop speaker and in management within one of the largest for-profit higher education corporations, has allowed him to develop an acute understanding of institutional needs, how to implement solutions and advise them in building roadmaps to deliver a technology and process support for a full student lifecycle.

During his career, JJ has been responsible for Consulting Services (sales, operations, training, and evangelization of best practices), a SIS Product Strategy Team, focused on the deployment strategy to be offered across institutions, testing and deployment of new functionality, and matching client expectations with system features.

Juan Jose has held roles at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Laureate International Universities, and CETIUC. He holds advanced degrees in Civil Engineering, Information Technology and Business Processes from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
