To date, DUOC has implemented improvements in demand estimation, strengthened its internal data governance, and is in the process of optimizing academic scheduling. Collaborative work with Doctums has paved the way for strategic guidance in selecting and implementing a new Student Information System (SIS), marking the path towards a comprehensive educational transformation.
Context
DUOC embarked on redefining its educational model but faced challenges in implementation. Doctums joined the project to analyze and transform institutional operations, processes, systems, and technological architecture in support of this ambitious change.
Challenge
The main challenge was implementing DUOC's new educational model, with identified opportunities to improve demand estimation and strengthen data governance. The academic scheduling process also needed enhancements.
Pain Points
DUOC faced difficulties in implementing its educational model and sought transformation in demand estimation. Additionally, data governance needed consolidation at the institutional level, and the academic scheduling process required optimization.
